RheinSet engineers and project managers are certified in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Certification requires a specialized education in engineering and construction specialties, knowledge of local building codes, and fluency in Russian or Kazakh language. Additionally, sufficient practical experience in implementing engineering and construction projects is required. These personnel must be employed by a legal entity established in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Our company has received local accreditation for engineering and construction work and construction management. To obtain the accreditation, in addition to having certified engineers on staff, we confirmed the availability of engineering software and relevant equipment, local office space, and compliance with other regulatory requirements in accordance with legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Our company specializes in the management and review of engineering work in accordance with local and international regulations, Client’s requirements and industry standards, such as GMP for the pharmaceutical industry. We collaborate with local design institutes to develop permitting documentation. Our design and construction engineers review the design documentation and transmit it to construction.
During the construction phase, we provide a construction manager, quality control engineers, and a certified occupational health and safety specialist. During this phase, we also collaborate with local authorities to obtain permits and commission the facility.

Beginning of the journey
Rheinset’s origins date back to the international engineering company Tebodin with over 50 years of experience. In the late 1990s, the team of the future RheinSet began working on its first industrial projects in CIS.
Gaining expertise
We gained our expertise while implementing projects for major Western manufacturers in Russia and Europe. A team of professionals has been formed, bringing together local and international specialists.
The birth of RheinSet
Following a management buyout (MBO) of Tebodin’s Russian division, an independent company under the RheinSet brand has been established. RheinSet retained all the experience, projects, and guarantees accumulated over years of operation. This move allowed to develop flexibly and to focus on the CIS and Asian markets.
Expansion into Central Asia
We opened office in Almaty and started to render services in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. RheinSet brings international engineering standards to the developing markets of Central Asia, successfully competing and collaborating with major players.
